My everyday makeup routine is pretty standard compared to most, I don’t really do anything too fancy. I tend to keep it simple and I don’t really use many products either. Majority of the products I use are really affordable, with some higher end things in there as well. I truly believe that you have can a great makeup look without spending 100’s and 100’s of pounds on every product. All together my whole face of makeup costs around £160, and I’ve had some of these products for quite a long time, so, you don’t have to keep repurchasing all the time. If you want to see what products I use, just keep reading…
L’Oreal Lumi Primer | £9.99
First thing I will go in with is my L’oreal Lumi Primer, I have had this for a very long time and I still haven’t used it up. I use it everyday as well, I do have a feeling I’ll have to buy a new one soon. This primer gives your skin a lovely glow to it, and foundation goes on perfectly on top. I would recommend this product if you have dry skin, and like a dewy finish. I would defiantly repurchase this product when I run out.
This is one of my newer foundations, I have just done a whole review on it, which you can read here. I do really like this foundation a lot, I now wear it all the time and love the finish it gives. Its perfect for dry skin but, it isn’t overly dewy which is good for oily skin people. For £11 I think this is really good foundation.
Now, this is a foundation what I use as a concealer. Well, technically I like to mix this in with my LA girl pro foundation but, because its in a stick form I cant really do that. So, I apply my foundation then I’ll add this where I would normally add concealer, as it is very full coverage and covers anything what the foundation doesn’t. You would think having 2 foundations would make your skin look cakey but, it really doesn’t. I have a lot of discolouration on my face so I personally need full coverage, and these two products do the job perfectly.
Benefit Hola Bronzer | £24.50
I think everyone has tried this bronzer at least once in their life. It is literally everywhere, I like it because I do have very pale skin and it isn’t too dark at all. It also isn’t a muddy colour and just looks natural on the skin, which is something you want from a bronzer.
Rimmel Sculpt | £6.99
I only use the blush from the Rimmel Sculpting kit, as I don’t personally like the other 2 shades. The blush is a coral colour and gives you a nice flush of colour to the cheeks.
This is another stable in peoples makeup kits. This highlighter is so lovely when applied to the skin, I like to use it on the cheek bones, tip of the nose and under the eyebrow. Its such a lovely colour for paler skin, as it isn’t too dark.
I would highly recommend this product, I have tried others are I didn’t really rate them that much. But, the NYX’s dewy setting spray is actually really good, I don’t really think it sets your face but, it does give it a really good dewy look. I am sadly running out of this one however, ill be picking a new one up soon.
Real Techniques Sponge | £5.99
This is the only tool I use to apply my foundation ever, I couldn’t live without a beauty sponge. I have never tried the beauty blender as, I have never wanted to pay £15 for one sponge. When this one is only £6 and i’m assuming they do around the same job. I don’t think I could go back to using a makeup brush to apply liquid products again.
Benefit Ka-Brow | £20
I did do a eyebrow routine where I showed you the 3 best eyebrow products and this Ka-Brow was one of them. I do really like this product because it makes you eyebrows look quite natural.
Rimmel Eyeshadow | £7.99
If I do wear eyeshadow I would use this little palette from Rimmel, if you want to read more about one of my latest blog post was based on it, which you can read here. It has very beautiful colours in it, and you can make some stunning eye looks.
L’Oreal Super Liner | £6.49
This I did mention is my last blog post, and I love it. Its easy to apply and just overall a really good eyeliner. You can read about this here.
L’Oreal Volume Million Mascara | £9.99
I have been using this mascara for a very long time, and I have never had any faults with it. I personally think all mascaras do around the same thing so, I don’t really like to spend too much money on this.
NYX Lip Lingerie | £6.50
Lastly I have my go to lipstick which is my favourite from NYX. I use the shade Lace Detail, and it is the perfect shade for my lips. Such as, it is very similar to my lip colour, so when I want to wear a lipstick but don’t want to wear a bold lip colour I will always wear this one from NYX.
